The Conservatory
The Conservatory at the Barbican is one of the most unusual, unique, and memorable venues in London for corporate events. The space is a tropical rain forest, get networking among 2000 species of tropical plants and 100s of species of tropical fish. The Conservatory is protected by a large glass roof, it is suitable in any weather condition with space for up to 150 guests. The Conservatory hosted the first Sustainable Events Show in the UK. Cinema 1
It is the perfect venue for presentations, corporate meetings, and private film screenings - during the recent refurbishment, the auditorium lighting has been adapted to suit clients requirements and now enables us to colourwash the walls and ceiling in any corporate colours required. On-site technical support and the capacity to stage video conferencing and satellite links, allows you to stage the most innovated events possible. Cinema 1 claims three simultaneous translation booths, fully-integrated stage lighting and two sound rigs that can be adapted to the needs of each client.

Frobisher Auditorium 2 offers raked seating, excellent sight lines, and facilities for video and data projection, making it ideal for hosting film screenings. This event space is located on the Frobisher floor and is adjacent to 6 individual Frobisher rooms, a dedicated boardroom, and our stunning catering areas.

The Conservatory Terrance is the perfect unique and unusual wedding venue that all your guests will remember fondly. The Conservatory Terrace is licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 150 guests. For larger weddings, it can be combined with the Conservatory and Garden Room to host up to 650 guests. It also provides a beautiful backdrop for hosting wedding receptions and wedding breakfasts.

Frobisher Auditorium 1 benefits from 4 simultaneous translation booths and includes the service of a dedicated technician. There is also fully-integrated stage lighting and two sound rigs which can be adapted to the individual needs of the client. There is on-site technical support with the ability to stage video conferences and satellite links. This auditorium has the facilities to deal with any need that arises during a video screening. Frobisher Auditorium 1 is located adjacent from Frobisher Rooms ensuring both syndicate and catering rooms are just a short walk away.

The Hall offers an intimate, yet persuasive, atmosphere with excellent sight lines, tiered seating and air conditioning ensuring comfort whilst keeping audiences involved and alert. The fixed seating arena has fantastic acoustics, superb technical resources, and beautiful lighting making it an excellent, professional and modern setting for a performance or rehearsal. The sight lines are excellent so everyone in the audience will have a lovely view of the stage without craning their necks.

The Frobisher rooms are ideal spaces for both smaller meetings and syndicate work, with 6 individual conference suites each seating up to 50 delegates in theatre style or 16 delegates in boardroom style. The suites are separated by removable sound proofed partitioning, allowing complete flexibility in combining these rooms to create larger flat floored spaces. When all partitioning are removed 2 large rooms accommodating up to 170 delegates in theatre style or 100 in classroom style each are created. There is a built in projector screen and a LCD projector to make giving presentations easy.

Need a fully equipped meeting space at short notice? Frobisher Boardroom is designed to provide everything you need for a successful, creative meeting. Spacious, dedicated boardroom with at its centre a versatile 'Congress' table flanked by comfortable leather armchairs. The table can be adapted to various configurations in minutes and allows presenters to choose a room layout totally appropriate to their needs. There is a projector screen, a LCD projector, and a fully integrated audio visual system to make giving presentations easy.

A private registration and catering area adjoining the Theatre will be available for your event and is included in the hire charge of the Theatre. A dedicated personnel is there to make sure your event will go as smoothly as possible. A professional kitchen can provide in-house catering by Searcys and Halal catering is available upon request. There is seating for 1154 people and no seat is more than 20 metres from the stage, all sight lines are excellent so no one in the audience will have a bad view of the stage. Ths events space is ideal for conferences, award ceremonies and private events.

The Barbican Centre was developed in the Brutalist style of architecture. It is a performing arts centre, the largest of its kind in Europe. The Barbican Centre was built after Barbican Estate which is a housing complex situated in an area that was bombed heavily in WWII. The centre holds theatre performances, film screenings, music concerts, and art exhibitions. As well as being a world class arts venue, the Barbican Centre also boasts one it's very own tropical Conservatory, which is one of the most unusual venues in London for weddings.
